Mentoring and career information on the &#8220;Step towards an IT career&#8221; project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In cooperation with Belgrade-based JISA, our company\u00a0<strong>Smart<\/strong>\u00a0was given the opportunity to participate in the IT retraining program for 40 persons from Novi Sad in the implementation of the United Nations Development Program (<strong>UNDP<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>The IT retraining program includes Web development training for Front-End developers \u2013 basic and advanced level.<\/p>\n<p>Part of this project also includes Mentoring and Career Information held by our colleague\u00a0<strong>Sofija Cerovic<\/strong>, Director of the Human Resources Department in our company.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees attended three segments: CV writing, cover letter and job interview.<\/p>\n<p>As for the first segment \u2013\u00a0<strong>writing a CV<\/strong>, the idea was to go through several of their CVs together with the candidates to understand how to write a CV after the analysis.<\/p>\n<p>For the\u00a0<strong>cover letter<\/strong>, Sofija said what it should look like, what segments it should contain and showed the students an example of a good letter of motivation.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, for the third segment \u2013\u00a0<strong>job interview<\/strong>, they did a simulation of several job interviews with volunteers (Sofija was an interviewer), and after that they did an interview analysis.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243;][vc_single_image image=&#8221;8957&#8243;
