At the beginning of January, our CEO Sini\u0161a Ljubojevi\u0107 gave an interview for the New Year edition of NIN<\/em>, where he spoke about the changes that artificial intelligence, the labor market, and new business dynamics are bringing to the IT industry and the economy as a whole.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In a conversation with one of the most influential business and social magazines in Serbia, Sini\u0161a shared his perspective on how business is evolving today, why adaptability is becoming a key capability for both companies and leaders, and why responsibility must serve as the foundation of technological development.<\/p>\n

BUSINESS IS ENTERING A NEW PHASE<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Reflecting on 2025, Sini\u0161a emphasized that the year strongly reminded us of the inevitability of change. Global and local disruptions have shown that stability can no longer be taken for granted\u2014but also that such environments create new opportunities for those ready to adapt.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Artificial intelligence plays a central role in this transformation.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cWe can debate whether AI is an investment bubble, but when it comes to its application\u2014there is no dilemma. AI is here to stay and will continue to expand across all areas of business,\u201d Sini\u0161a stated in his interview with NIN<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

<\/p>\n

This technology is already reshaping how organizations operate, plan, and make decisions\u2014boosting productivity while transforming the structure of the labor market.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

THE SERBIAN IT MARKET BETWEEN EXPORT AND DOMESTIC DEMAND<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The interview also highlighted that Serbia\u2019s IT market is strongly export-oriented, while domestic demand still largely comes from the public sector. According to Sini\u0161a, this represents both a challenge and an opportunity.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our vision is that IT in Serbia should increasingly serve as a strategic driver of growth\u2014particularly in the private sector\u2014through more complex solutions, higher added value, and the smart application of AI in real business processes.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

RESPONSIBILITY AS THE FOUNDATION OF BUSINESS<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

As a company with a 36-year legacy, Saga has built its business model on long-term responsibility toward its users and partners.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have clients\u2014we have users. We don\u2019t have suppliers\u2014we have partners. That\u2019s not just semantics, it\u2019s a mindset,\u201d our CEO emphasized.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In practice, this means that unfinished projects are not an option at Saga. Even when projects are not the most profitable in the short term, responsibility toward what has been agreed always comes first.<\/p>\n

HOW AI IS RESHAPING THE LABOR MARKET AND THE ROLE OF LEADERS<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In the coming years, AI will further transform how knowledge and experience are valued.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Efficiency in cognitive roles will increase, but this will make experienced professionals and strong leadership even more valuable. Managers will make decisions faster and based on better data\u2014but their personal responsibility will be greater than ever.<\/p>\n

EDUCATION AS THE MOST IMPORTANT INVESTMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

When asked what he would most like to see change in Serbia, our CEO emphasized that the most critical long-term investment is education.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In a knowledge-based economy, talent development is the foundation of a stable society, sustainable business, and effective institutions. Without it, no tax reform or regulatory framework can deliver lasting results.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

THE COURAGE TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY BEYOND DELIVERY<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

At the end of the interview, Sini\u0161a reflected on what he considers the boldest decision of his career\u2014the shift from traditional project delivery to a managed services model.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In this model, responsibility does not end when a project is delivered\u2014it begins there: through ensuring secure, stable, and reliable system performance day after day.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It is precisely this principle\u2014that a promise is a commitment\u2014that we see as the core value on which we build both Saga and our relationships with users.<\/p>\n
