How our internship programme works?
- 20 hours of work per week with the possibility of flexible working hours and alignment with study obligations
- Duration of practice between one and six months
- Students of the final years of college or universities
- The application is open throughout the year

How many of us really loves what we are doing? Unfortunately, among young people today, most are satisfied with just finding a job. Five years ago, in addition to work, I tried to find something more: a job that I would like to go to each morning, which will put new challenges in front of me every day and give me the opportunity to gain new knowledge. I wanted to find such a job in the company that cares about me, as much as about my family, which is itself a family made up of experts who will help me become an expert and where I will be able to make progress. I gave Saga a chance, but she did not fulfill my expectations! She fulfilled much more! I started as a trainee in the Customer Care Department, learned a lot in those 6 months and got a chance to get in touch with some more serious challenges. Today I work as an engineer in the Network Solutions Sector on some of the largest projects in the region. Whatever position I held up to now, one thing was certain - I always felt like an important link in the chain and part of the team. And the team? The team is something special. 18 colleagues, 18 great people with whom I have the great honor and pleasure to work. After all the challenges and tasks we have been working on, we are no longer colleagues, but friends. Others say that we are the strongest, the most positive, most compatible and most responsible team. That we are the best. It’s not necessary to be modest. They're right! Of course, there are always those who think they are better than you ... then simply beat them in table tennis :)

"The door we pass through to get into the working environment for the first time is one of the most important in the life of every human being. Fear and uncertainty are the feelings that we all have in those moments. When I came to Saga, I had them as well. People who welcomed me, my mentors, helped me to overcome this very quickly to be able to acquire primarily technical skills but also a range of other important social and life skills. That's my task today. The trainee is expected to be uncertain, but also to have an initiative, to be curious and willing to learn. The role of the mentor goes beyond the technical skills that he undoubtedly possesses and implies that he must have other, social skills that will help him to approach the newcomers in a human way, making them feel like part of the team in a short period of time. In such an atmosphere it is easier to respond to the professional challenges that are set before them in the form of clearly defined tasks. Always available support is implied. Although a formal mentor is one, new colleagues actually have mentors in all of us with whom they will have the opportunity to work.“

„Hearing about experiences regarding internships has made me question whether that is something I would like to invest my time in. I was looking for positive experiences, received a few here and there, but nothing too exciting. Three months ago I started an internship in a company Saga d.o.o. Beograd, where I worked in the Marketing department. Looking at it now, it was one of the best decisions I have made - it was quite a learning experience. We worked together on Saga's chatbot solution Weaver, bringing the product with all of its incredible features to the Serbian market, while preparing for the next step which was introducing it to the German market on Chatbot Summit in Berlin. All of that was done in such a positive and encouraging environment, with incredible people and countless cups of great coffee. I was challenged to go beyond my limits. It is safe to say that I have learned so much about chatbots and artificial intelligence, that I feel like I can make my own chatbot now! :) In the end, seeing the outcomes of our hard work and how well the team performed in Berlin made me really proud. „After completing bachelor and master studies at the Faculty of Electronic Engineering in Niš, I started to search for a job. Considering that I graduated from the Electric Power Engineering module, my quest went in that direction. In the sea of ads, I came across one for the Restart Academy organized by Saga, a company whose reputation was known to me from before. The field of computer science covered by the academy has always been the subject of my interest. In spite of great competition I got the opportunity to attend the academy, and after it had finished I was selected among the four best who got the opportunity for a one-month training. I gained my first work experience in the customer care department and in the internal IT where I learned how to deal with the challenges and problems that can arise during everyday business. The reason I chose to stay in Saga after completing the training is because it is professional, and at the same time a pleasant and comfortable working environment. In the information security sector, where I currently work as a part of the team led by Đorđe Zečević, I am motivated to progress and perfect my knowledge day by day. The colleagues from the sector unselfishly share their knowledge and experience, which helps me to overcome obstacles and develop, not only professionally, but also on a personal level. My everyday work is very diverse, exciting and fun.
