Cisco AppDynamics: Monitoring Digital Business Applications
The Cisco Connect conference was held on Crowne Plaza on March 19th and was intended to give presenters an insight into the business trends in the digital environment and innovations from Cisco. The theme of this year’s conference is Global Vision, Local Knowledge, and we have supported Cisco Connect with gold sponsorship. Beside the stand that visitors could visit at the expo part of the conference, our presence at this conference was marked by the presentation of our colleague Bojan Zivancevic, Business Development Manager. The topic of the presentation was – Cisco AppDynamics: Monitoring of digital business applications.
It is the most modern application performance monitoring (APM) tool that enables most of the monitoring tasks to be automated, proactively creates the dynamic basis for measuring, as well as inspecting the level of the line in the code – reducing the time of the problem analysis to a minimum. In addition, unlike traditional APM solutions, it is possible to do business analysis from a business point of view, not just in classical IT metrics.
Digital business requires a serious APM tool that will finally be able to overcome a problem that has long been spotted – infrastructure has, and can be, been monitored satisfactorily, but not by application services.
This solution is focused and the largest contribution is given to IT operations (internal support and help desk), software development and management (due to business analysis), and consequently it is desirable to invite appropriate participants or business process owners to the meeting.
