In cooperation with Belgrade-based JISA, our company Smart was given the opportunity to participate in the IT retraining program for 40 persons from Novi Sad in the implementation of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).

The IT retraining program includes Web development training for Front-End developers – basic and advanced level.

Part of this project also includes Mentoring and Career Information held by our colleague Sofija Cerovic, Director of the Human Resources Department in our company.

Attendees attended three segments: CV writing, cover letter and job interview.

As for the first segment – writing a CV, the idea was to go through several of their CVs together with the candidates to understand how to write a CV after the analysis.

For the cover letter, Sofija said what it should look like, what segments it should contain and showed the students an example of a good letter of motivation.

Finally, for the third segment – job interview, they did a simulation of several job interviews with volunteers (Sofija was an interviewer), and after that they did an interview analysis.
