Our company has recognized the potential of chatbots as a resource that can significantly facilitate communication and information flow, but also relief contact centers and experts, so that their focus can be on the most important topics during the SARS-COV2 virus pandemic, which causes COVID-19 disease, and decided to donate a chatbot for this purpose to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in cooperation with Rakuten Viber CEE and the Business and Arts Academy of Applied Studies. The Virtual Assistant is available 24 hours for all potential citizens’ questions regarding COVID-19 at https://covid19.rs/.
Chatbot COVID-19 Info Serbia has exchanged over 2,000,000 messages in less than 7 days in over 383,000 conversations, with more than 129,000 users.
Initially, 65 topics and scenarios related to the virus were covered, about the virus itself, prescribed measures by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, symptoms, and severity of the disease, therapy and testing for the virus, measures of prevention, self-isolation and many more topics and questions that citizens ask daily. Already in the second phase, based on user inquiries, the number of scenarios has reached more than 80, and the chatbot can now provide you with information on the rights of employees in isolation, on student exams, on raising a pension, children kindergarten application electronically, about online cultural content, how to become a volunteer and the answers to many questions that plague you during the COVID-19 pandemic.
