Three decades on the strong foundations of digital transformation leaders
The audience was addressed by the CEO of Saga, Nebojsa Bjelotomic, saying that each year in the Balkans should gain a certain weight factor, which means that 30 years is actually much more than the calendar 30 years.
“My personal impression is that many great people have worked hard to be where we are today. Some of them are not with us, but we always remember them when we celebrate anniversaries. When we look at our young colleagues, I see in them a great determination to continue pushing the Saga further. We who are here now serve to erase silverware, to preserve it, and to promote it. Thanks again for being here, and my colleagues at Saga know that I like to end the verses at meetings like this, so this will be the case again, as I think they are timeless and above us. These verses, in my opinion, best exemplify the Saga: ‘There is no nonsense in you, no death. You shine like a dug up old sword. Everything resurrected in You, and it plays, and it revolves and repeats, like a day and a baby crying, “said Bjelotomic and thanked the users and partners who, he said, helped Saga to be where it is today and to become synonym for the top business results.
The knowledge and experience that Saga has gained since its founding in 1989 has led her to a leadership position in the digital transformation field. Saga has built its reputation on large and challenging projects, some of which were the largest in the region, followed by the expertise of its staff who have a huge number of professional and technical certifications, and due to the fact that it has always kept up with the latest technologies. This company has developed a number of unique information systems and have revolutionized the functioning of the public sector and financial institutions. Also, Saga created a SMIN network through which all the internet traffic in Serbia and later in Montenegro went on in the past. In 2009, Saga became part of the New Frontier Group – the most promising group of ICT companies in Central and Eastern Europe, which in 2013 was on Gartner’s list of the 10 most successful system integrators in these markets.
