Employee Value Proposition Workshop at the Autumn Vivaldi HR Forum
It is already known that we are regular visitors to all four Vivaldi forums on Mokra Gora. This year’s Autumn Vivaldi HR Forum aimed to show what Serbia currently has in terms of concrete applied successful (and possibly unsuccessful) practices, to tell stories from a real-life everyday, to tell who went wrong and who didn’t. It was held from 18th -21th September on “People with a Purpose – HR Practices That Make a Difference!”.
Our Sofija Cerovic, Director of the Human Resources Department, held a workshop where she presented the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to the attendees. EVP is an ecosystem of support, recognition and value that an employer provides to employees to reach their full potential at work. Sofija introduced the EVP components at the beginning of the presentation:
After that, the steps in defining EVP are outlined, of which we have focused on the first three below:
- Defining employee persona
- Defining your EVP elements
- Writing EVP
- Communicating EVP
- Measurement of results
- EVP harmonization
Sonja Cetkovic, co-director of the forum, announced us as the rare company in our market to create her EVP. We talked about what EVP is, how it is created and why it is important to communicate. The participants went through several exercises aimed at getting them closer to a mindset that facilitates the creation of an EVP, and in the end they were able to see what was the product of our work on the topic.
