  • Participation in the Huawei Pacific Plan Advanced Training Program in China

Our colleague Miroljub Ručnov represented our company from June 3 to 5 – 05. at the Huawei Pacific Plan Advanced Training Program held in Shanghai, one of the most significant educational programs intended for partners and experts in the fields of data storage and data protection technologies.

Miroljub was Sage’s only representative among the experts from Serbia, who also included representatives of Huawei Serbia, Asseco SEE, and SBS Group.

During the three-day training, participants had the opportunity to gain a more detailed understanding of Huawei’s latest solutions for enterprise storage infrastructure, data protection, and AI platforms through expert lectures, practical workshops, and laboratory exercises. The program covered technologies such as OceanStor Dorado All-Flash Storage, OceanProtect Data Protection, AI Data Lake, and DCS (Data Center Storage) solutions, with a special focus on their application in modern business environments and data centers.

We are especially proud of the result achieved during the practical part of the program. Miroljub was part of an international team composed of participants from Serbia, Poland, and France, which won first place in the laboratory exercises. The team successfully solved all assigned scenarios in the shortest time among all participants in the program and was also recognized as the most active throughout the training. In recognition of their achievements, the team members were awarded certificates and a professional Huawei publication.

In addition to technical development, the program provided an opportunity to exchange experiences with Huawei experts, solution architects, and partners from across Europe, as well as to learn about the strategy for developing infrastructure for artificial intelligence, advanced data centers, and systems for data management and protection.

The hands-on sessions were of particular value, as participants worked on real-life implementation, management, and system optimization scenarios. This approach enabled a deeper understanding of the design, implementation, and maintenance of advanced storage and data protection solutions, as well as the technologies that form the foundation for developing AI-ready infrastructure.

Continuous investment in knowledge and the development of expert competencies remains one of the key ways in which we improve the quality of the services we provide to our customers. The experience gained further strengthens our ability to help organizations modernize their infrastructure, enhance data protection, and prepare for future challenges of digital business.
