TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. The first conference was held in 1984 in California. Microsoft founder Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and others spoke at the TED conferences. TED has over time become a mainstay of ideas that are changing the world through various initiatives. TEDx are local, independently organized events that bring together people who want to experience the TED. The symbol x means that it is an independent event that is organized based on a license issued by TED.

This year, at a unique event in Serbia TEDxUsce, interesting and inspiring presenters with their original speeches will motivate you to start and change yourself and your environment. Thanks to TEDxUsce, Serbian citizens can now become members of the large TED educational community and thus share knowledge, ideas and opinions with its other members.

The TEDxUsce will be held on May 19th at the premises of the Cineplexx Cinema, the USCE Shopping Center.

At this year’s TEDx, we have amazing speakers, people who are initiators. The featured speaker is Ivan Ivanovic, the host of “Evening with Ivan Ivanovic” who will speak about quality as an ideal. There is also Vesna Nestorovic Coka, a blind journalist who is living proof that anything is possible when there is a desire. There will also be talk of love and the universe, evolution and technology, ancestors and the future. These are just some of the interesting topics that we will hear at this year’s TEDxUSCE conference.

Aim of the TEDxUsce conference is to encourage young people to change themselves so they can change our environment. The conference was supported by Usce Shoping Center, Endava, Doncafe, TeleGroup, Zuhlke, Poslovi.Infostud, MSG global solutions and others.

Our famous LP DUO, Sonja and Andrija will tell us about how they made out something in Serbia that is nowhere in the world: a quantum piano. Culturally we are left with food to heal emotions, nutritionist Zvezdana Ljubenkovic will tell us about this topic. Psychologist Hana Stamatovic will talk about the power that comes from our bodies.
