The first real online cash loan in Serbia, “iCash”, was placed in the final round of the competition for the best technological innovations in the world “Finovate”. Placement at the very top of this world’s most famous choice for digital and technological innovations is a great success and a confirmation that it is a truly revolutionary product in the field of retail lending.

Raiffeisen Bank introduced the “iCash” loan in its offer in September 2019, and it was developed in cooperation with our company “NF Innova”. This is the first loan in Serbia that is fully realized online and is approved by all citizens, even those who are not clients of Raiffeisen Bank. Credit is a novelty both on the domestic market and in the region, and the bank was the first in the Raiffeisen Group to offer such an advanced service.

Citizens discovered all the advantages of the “iCash” loan after the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus pandemic, since it enables quick and easy access to the necessary financial resources, without any physical contact, from the security of their home. Thus, in the previous months, the Bank recorded a significant increase in approved “iCash” loans, as well as a high degree of customer satisfaction who opted for this type of 100% online loans.

This loan is just one of the numerous technological innovations that Raiffeisen Bank introduced in the previous period as part of a comprehensive digitalization strategy, and for which it was named “The Best Digital Bank in Serbia” by Global Finance magazine for two years in a row.

The placement in the final round of the “Finovate” competition is an additional confirmation of the quality of the bank’s digital products offer, since “iCash” in fierce competition, stood “side by side” with the products of some of the world’s largest companies.

By the way, the “Finovate” selection brings together the world’s leading banks, fintech companies, business accelerators, and individuals, who compete in 25 different categories. The jury that decides on the winners consists of leading experts from various IT sectors and related industries.
